LIT Technology was nominated to be supplier of UV system for municipal waste water treatment plants in Moonkyung city, Republic of Korea. The start-up is scheduled for the 1st of November. According to the requirements of customer the UV system will be based on high-tech dimming electronic ballasts, which provide the automatic variation of UV lamps output according to current water quality and flow rate. At the first stage UV system will treat 2000 m3 per day of wastewater. In future the flow capacity of the system will be expanded to 8000 m3 per day.
