On the 1st of July 2002 LIT Technology launched UV system in the city of Chilkok Yangmok, Republic of Korea, which successfully operates now at newly built municipal wastewater treatment plants. The LIT UV system with flow capacity of 20 000 m3/day comprises six 11MLP-12A modules. The modules are based on LIT’s high efficiency (UV output - 41%) low-pressure amalgam lamps DB-300 of high output. Each module of the system is equipped with automatic wiper system to prevent quartz sleeves fouling. The General Constructor – Hundai Engineering Co.
