A complex reconstruction of the pump station has been accomplished to improve water supply and maintain water pressure at such level that could meet rising demands of the rapidly growing city. Under the reconstruction at the Murinsk Pump Station a UV system was put into operation upstream of the distribution network. Equipped with LIT’s equipment, it has a capacity of 432 000 m³/day. Being one of the essential innovations, UV radiation technology was chosen to be implemented at the Station to guarantee microbiological parameters.
